Astra Labs Start for $99

Web design for cleaning companies

Cleaning company websites that prove the clean and price the job.

Astra Labs designs custom websites for house cleaners, commercial and janitorial firms, end of tenancy and holiday let cleaners, carpet cleaners, window cleaners and exterior cleaning rounds. It costs $499 one time for up to five pages, with $99 to start and the rest when you love it. Each site leads with your own before and after photos, shows your rates or checklist plainly and sends quote requests straight to your phone.

BeforeAfter, the same spot
A cleaner's strongest proof is the same spot before and after. On every cleaning site we line up two of the business's own photos so the visitor wipes, drags or squeegees from one to the other.
What the site has to do

People buy a cleaner on trust and results. Show both early.

We have designed 35 cleaning sites, for one-person window rounds through to janitorial firms with contracts. Here is what the strongest ones have in common.

  1. Before and after, from your own jobs

Nothing sells a clean like the same oven, carpet or window shown dirty and then done. Most cleaners already take these photos for their customers. We put them at the top of the site, lined up so the change is obvious.

  2. Show the checklist

"Deep clean" means different things to different people. Writing out what is included, room by room, sets expectations and makes a fair price look fair.

  3. Price it, or make pricing easy

Flat rates by home size, per room, per panel or per window. Where you publish rates, let visitors build their price. Where you do not, ask the few questions you need to quote.

  4. Say who will come into the home

Faces and first names, insurance and vetting, in plain words. For many customers this is the deciding point, not the price.

  5. Speak to your kind of customer

Homeowners, landlords and agents, holiday let hosts and facility managers buy differently. Commercial buyers want a walkthrough and a schedule. Hosts want changeovers that never miss a check-in.

  6. Make the round visible

For window and exterior rounds, show the towns you cover and how often you come. It answers "do you come to my street?" before anyone has to ask.

What we found

36 cleaning websites, checked one by one.

We read the current site of every cleaning business we designed for in October 2026, across the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and German-speaking Europe. On 1 November 2026 we opened each homepage again as a phone.

Many of the cleaning businesses in this group were only one or two years old, often with excellent early reviews. Their sites were mostly made on quick builders and funnel tools, and the pattern was clear: generated or stock rooms where the real before and after photos should be, award-style badges, and in one case about two hundred automatically made neighbourhood pages. The real proof usually sat on the owner's phone, Instagram or Google listing.

Method: counts from our written review notes on each old site, plus one phone visit to each homepage at 390 pixels wide. See the full method.

Cleaning work

Eight cleaning sites, and the idea behind each.

Described by type and region only, since these businesses did not ask to be named. Each was built from the cleaner's own photos and prices.

Walk your building

What we found
A large template site of about a hundred pages with stock photos and long text, and a walkthrough request hidden among them.
What we built
Their sales walkthrough made into the site: a facility manager taps the rooms and floors of a building plan, sees the firm's real finished photo and scope for each, and the chosen areas fill the walkthrough request.

Flat rates, found fast

What we found
A builder site with several hundred automatically made pages, generated team photos and walls of award badges.
What we built
Real customers' homes and words first, then the firm's published flat rates in a finder by clean type and home size that sends the quote as a text.
Holiday let changeoversSouth coast of England

Ready for new guests

What we found
A theme site with placeholder service pages, demo testimonials and an empty counter.
What we built
A door hanger every host knows: pick one of their real rooms and turn the sign from "guests checked out" to "ready for new guests" to see it before and after.

After you lock up

What we found
A builder site of 65 pages with mostly stock imagery and a long menu.
What we built
One evening's strip and wax job told by the clock on their own photos, from early evening to finished shine, because the work happens after the client goes home.
Solar panel cleaningNew Zealand

Count your panels

What we found
A tidy single page with a stock hero film and stock photos.
What we built
The owner's own golden-hour photo of a cleaned array, then a drawn array where visitors tap their last panel and watch the per-panel price build before sending it as a quote.

Draw your house

What we found
A four page template with icon boxes and almost none of his own photos.
What we built
His quote questions (house type, bedrooms, conservatory, roof windows, how often) draw the visitor's house in the style of his logo as they answer, then send it to his phone.
Carpet and upholstery cleaningSydney, Australia

Fresh lines

What we found
A template site with stock living rooms and counters, his own films barely used.
What we built
His own clips of fresh stripes opening the page, before and after pairs first, and his rooms offer as a floor plan where each tapped room comes up clean and goes into the request.
Home and commercial cleaningNorthern Iowa

Wipe it clean

What we found
A new builder site with one filled page of stock photos and five empty pages.

Questions

Cleaners ask us.

How much does a website for a cleaning business cost?

With Astra Labs, $499 one time for up to five pages: $99 to start and $400 when you love the finished site, before it goes live. Optional extras have fixed prices, such as live booking with deposits for $149. Hosting and care is $30 a month if you want it.

Can customers get a price on the site?

Yes, if you publish rates. We build a price finder from your own price list, by home size, rooms, panels or windows, and the result goes into the quote request. If you quote every job, the same tool collects what you need to price it.

I only have phone photos. Is that enough?

Yes. Phone photos of your own jobs are exactly what we want, especially before and after pairs of the same spot. We line them up, crop and size them. If you have only a few, we use good licensed images that fit while you collect more.

Can it take regular bookings and deposits?

Booking requests by message are included. If you already use a booking tool, its button goes on the site at no extra cost. A calendar where customers book a slot and pay a deposit into your own account is $149.

Do I keep my domain, email and Google listing?

Yes. Your domain stays in your name, your email keeps working, and at launch we update your Google Business Profile with the new site and connect Search Console and Analytics.

Can I change prices and areas myself later?

Yes. Your own dashboard lets you change words, prices, areas and photos, and publish when you are ready. Every earlier version is kept.

Your best advert is the photo you took after the last job.

Put it where new customers will see it. $499 for the complete site, $99 to start.
