Web design for coaches

Coaching websites where people meet you before they book.

Astra Labs designs custom websites for life coaches, business and executive coaches, career and relationship coaches and mentors. It costs $499 one time for up to five pages, paid as $99 to start and $400 when you love it, before the site goes live. The site opens on your own film or portrait, turns your method into something a visitor can try, lays out every way to work with you at its real price, and ends in a discovery call booked straight into the calendar you already use.

How we lay out most coaching sites: one clear first step, then each way to work with you as a stone on the path, with its length, format and price, so nobody has to ask what comes next.
What the site has to do

Coaching is bought on a feeling: this person gets me.

A visitor to a coach's site is usually deciding whether to trust a stranger with something personal: a career change, a marriage, a business that is stuck, a life after heartbreak. These lessons come from the coaches we designed for and the sites they had.

  1. Let them hear you

Fourteen of the twenty-two coaches had film of their own good enough to open a site: stage talks, interviews, podcast studio clips, a walk on a favourite trail. Hearing a coach speak for ten seconds does what paragraphs of credentials cannot. Your film, cut to a quiet loop with the full version a tap away, belongs at the top.

  2. Turn your method into something to try

Nearly every coach had a named framework: four pillars, a compass, eight steps, a report card. On the old sites it sat as a bulleted list. Made interactive, so the visitor turns the compass or fills in the card, the method shows how you think before the first call.

  3. Show every way to work with you, with prices

Sixteen of these coaches published at least some prices, often a ladder from a small paid session to a year-long programme. Laid out as one path, it lets a visitor pick the step that fits their budget and nerve, instead of digging through sales pages.

  4. One booking button, the one you use

Twelve sites already ran bookings through a tool such as Calendly, Acuity or SimplyBook. Keep it. Every call to action on the new site opens that same calendar, so bookings keep landing where you manage them.

  5. Speak to the person, then the company

Leadership and executive coaches sell to two readers: the individual and the organisation paying. Give each its own clear way in, with workshops, keynotes and team programmes on one side and one-to-one work on the other.

  6. Bring scattered pages under one roof

Several coaches had a main site plus a funnel page, a second domain, a separate shop and a link page. One home that links out to your checkout, your podcast and your course platform is easier to trust and easier for search engines to understand.

What we found

22 coaches' websites, studied in turn.

We studied the existing sites of every coach we designed for in October 2026: 22 coaches and mentors in the US, the UK, Canada, Germany, France and Latin America, working in person and online. On 1 November 2026 we opened each homepage again as a phone would. The group is small, so read these figures as what we saw, not a survey of the coaching industry.

Coaches had a wealth of personal material, and their sites showed surprisingly little of it. Many opened on stock photos of other people, a generic sunrise or a template's sample portrait, while the coach's own TEDx talk, radio day or retreat footage sat on YouTube or Instagram. Four had film from a stage, including two TEDx talks.

The machinery around the sites was busy. Five ran on funnel builders made for sales pages, nine sold programmes through a separate checkout or payment tool, and several spread their business across two or three domains. With no phone number on most homepages, the booking button carries the whole site, which makes it worth placing on every screen. On the positive side, every homepage we measured had a working secure address and a layout ready for phones.

Method: our review notes describe each old site in writing; we counted notes mentioning stock or generated images, booking and checkout tools, and published prices. Phone checks opened each homepage once at 390 pixels wide. One coach had no website and two sites did not load, so 15 homepages were measured. See the full method.

Coaching work

Nine coaches, and the idea we built each site around.

These coaches have not asked to be named, so we describe their field and region only. Each site was made from the coach's own films, photos, framework, prices and words.

A window you reshape

What we found
A funnel template with stock imagery, emoji icons, a counter stuck at zero and sample text left in an FAQ, plus an older second site.
What we built
His stage film opens the page, then the feedback window from his own team workshop. Visitors reshape it by asking for feedback and sharing more, and each pane opens one way to work with him.

Two ways in, one path

What we found
Two separate builder sites with pop-ups and stock-looking blocks, bookings and payment plans spread across several tools.
What we built
Her own mountain trail film opens the site, each of her two audiences gets its own way in, and her whole practice is laid out as one path from a low-cost first session to a year of support.

Turn the compass

What we found
A page builder site with stock photos of other people and long text, though it already listed prices and had a booking link and good reviews.
What we built
Her four-part framework becomes a compass needle the visitor turns. Each point pairs where people are when they first get in touch with what her clients wrote afterwards.

Your own report card

What we found
No website, only a link page and a booking page.
What we built
Her playful report card graphic turned into one every visitor fills in. Tick what you want an A in, and her real bookable sessions land on the card with a teacher's comment.

She answers before you book

What we found
A crowded page builder template with stock coaching photos and long paragraphs, plus a booking link and a small cart.
What we built
A visitor sees the coach and her husband at more than thirty years married, names how she feels in the coach's own words, and hears the coach answer on film before booking a session.

Around the fire

What we found
A tidy custom site where every section was the same rounded card on cream, and the pages did not share one look.
What we built
His speaker film opens the night, then his four-step loop runs twice around the campfire mark from his logo, wider each pass, leading to coaching, consulting and training for organisations.

A payslip anyone can fill in

What we found
A neat one-page template with tilted photo cards, long bullet lists and a plain enquiry form.
What we built
Her own day on air at a radio station opens the site, then her press wall, her three-part money framework as a payslip any visitor can fill in, and the rooms she teaches in.

A course of jumps

What we found
A long page builder site in black and gold with boxed photos, stock imagery and application forms.
What we built
Her farm pasture at dusk opens the page, and her seven-step method is ridden as a show jumping course, each fence one step, rising to the height she reached in competition herself.

Try the colours

What we found
A funnel page with grey boxes and orange buttons, and a home address that showed an error.
What we built
His own outfit change film, his clients' before and after photos, and the colour cards from his posts made into a tool visitors can try, all leading to his free call.
What comes with it

Questions

What coaches ask us.

How much does a website for a coach cost?

At Astra Labs a coaching website is $499 one time for up to five pages, paid as $99 to start and $400 once you love it, before it goes live. Extra pages are $149 for five, and hosting is an optional $30 a month.

Can I keep my Calendly or Acuity booking?

Yes. Your own booking button or calendar goes on the site and every call to action opens it, so sessions keep arriving exactly where you manage them now. This is included.

I sell programmes through ThriveCart, Stripe or PayPal. What happens to those?

They stay as they are. Each offer on your new site links to its existing checkout, so payments, payment plans and receipts keep working. Courses, memberships and members' areas themselves are a custom quote.

I only have talking-head videos. Can they still open the site?

Often yes. We crop a clean moment, remove burnt-in captions where possible and grade it into a short loop. If no clip works as an opening, a strong portrait does, and your films play further down the page.

I coach individuals and also run workshops for companies. Can one site do both?

Yes. We give each reader a clear way in: one path for personal coaching and one for organisations, with workshops, keynotes and team programmes and an enquiry suited to each.

My business is spread over a funnel page, a second domain and a link page. Can you bring it together?

Yes. Your main domain becomes the home for everything, other domains can redirect to it, and the tools you keep, such as checkout, podcast or course platform, are linked from it. Your domains stay in your name and your email keeps working.

Your next client is watching your reels right now.

Give them one place to meet you properly and book. $499 for the complete site, $99 to begin.
